CliniSys is a well-established company, with over 200 employees, and over 30 years’ experience of developing market-leading healthcare software. This includes clinical laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and order comms software. CliniSys is also the creator of products such as WinPath and ICE.

Our systems help medical professionals test, diagnose and treat millions of patients across the country every day, helping to save and improve quality of lives.

We are looking for a .NET Development Team Leader to join and lead one of our development teams, tasked with maintaining and updating one of our flagship products.

Role responsibilities:

The role will involve managing and leading a CliniSys core product team within our development / product department.

The Development Team Leader will be responsible for working closely with the product group PMO, to ensure sprints and projects as part of the production roadmap are high quality, and delivered on time.

This role will also include considering the operational, deployment and support impacts of any design decisions taken, deferring to the appropriate level for guidance when potential questions arise.

The Development Team Leader position will be 70% managerial and 30% hands-on development, and you will need to undertake any reasonable development requests as part of an agreed roadmap within your sprint activities. Each task will need to be executed through a team of 5/6 experienced developers, focused on .NET, VB.NET and C# Development.

The role will also involve leading monthly team meetings and one-to-one meetings to develop your team’s skills and capabilities. You will need to be familiar with all company processes and assist the testing and support teams when questions arise.
